Spark Inc. Fundraiser: Virtual Winter Walk 2021

EVENT DETAILS

SPARC's Mission: To enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities thru high-quality therapeutic recreation activities. Participants work on skill development in a nurturing social community that does not otherwise exist in their lives.

 SPARC offers positive experiences and fun activities to over 1,500 participants year-round. 

We invite you to join us for our First Virtual 2K Walk. Grab your friends and family to be part of a fun SAFE event. 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• Sunday, January 31st at 12:30 pm - KICKOFF DAY with SPARC's Program Coordinator, KARA at Kenisco Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY
• Saturday, February 6th at 10 am - Walk with SPARC's Program Specialist, MATTEO at Tibbets Park, Yonkers, NY  
• Sunday, February 7th at 12:30 pm - Rain/Snow Makeup day

(Hot chocolate will be provided at the events)

How can I participate?

• REGISTER-Purchase a registration ticket to walk on your own or join us on any of the events listed above.

• Once you register you will receive more information on the Scheduled Events.

FIRST 100 Registrants will receive a SPARC Beanie Hat and handwarmer. Please put on your SPARC hat when you participate in the walk. 

*If you are walking on your own or with your team of friends, neighbors, and family:

• Pick a location and any day from Saturday, January 30, 2021, thru Sunday, February 14, 2021. 
• Choose your distance: you may walk around the block, do a 2K walk at the local mall, or even try a longer walk or run around your neighborhood. Wear your SPARC hat. 

If don't want to Walk, please consider donating!

2020 was a rough year but we are walking to celebrate a New Year, 2021. All proceeds will go directly to support SPARC's therapeutic and social skills programs.
