A Half-Day Seminar in Partnership with Westchester Community College

We all attend or lead meetings as part of doing the work we do. They can be productive experiences where everyone leaves feeling they were positively engaged and actively involved in contributing to learning something new; solving an existing problem or creating a plan for a new program or service. They can also be less productive experiences - where participants leave wondering why they were there, feeing that little or nothing was accomplished and asking themselves if this was the best use of their time.

The goal of this is program is to prepare participants to run productive and inspiring meetings where the objectives and roles are clear, and where team members feel supported and engaged in the process of creating and achieving collective goals. This will be a highly interactive and participatory session that will encourage participant engagement and hands-on practice. You will leave with the knowledge and skills to:

  • Define meeting principles and actions
  • Set purpose and intended results
  • Create collaborative agendas
  • Set goals and timelines
  • Create buy-in
  • Provide feedback
  • Measure Progress
